Mumbai: Global denim powerhouse Pepe Jeans London has appointed Rakesh Jallipally as Chief Executive Officer for its India operations, effective July 24, 2025.

With over 18 years of cross-functional leadership experience in fashion, retail, and consumer tech, Rakesh Jallipally is widely recognized for scaling high-growth businesses, launching trend-driven platforms, and steering transformation across leading apparel brands.
Before taking charge at Pepe Jeans, Rakesh Jallipally held senior leadership roles at Flipkart, where he was instrumental in launching the youth-centric fashion platform Spoyl and leading the men’s fashion vertical.

He previously served at Reliance Retail, spearheading the launch of AZORTE, and spent nearly a decade at Arvind Fashions Ltd., successfully heading iconic brands such as US Polo Assn. and Flying Machine. He began his career at Raymond Ltd., managing regional retail operations.
A graduate of IIM Lucknow, with a specialization in Marketing and Strategy, Rakesh brings a robust blend of academic insight and industry acumen. His proven ability to align business strategy with evolving consumer behavior positions him well to lead Pepe Jeans’ India operations into its next phase.
